How can I join a ladder?

Go to the Ladder page and search for a ladder by name (enter at least 3 characters). Then, click Join to request participation from the ladder administrator.

How is my placement in a ladder determined?

We use your rating to determine your initial position in the ladder. We match you with a player whose rating is closest to yours and place you accordingly.

How can I contact my opponent?

You can view your opponent in the Planner menu of the ladder. This is only possible when you have an active match. Next to their name, you will see icons for different contact methods. Click on an icon to send a message (via Signal, WhatsApp, or email) or use the phone icon to call (if you’re on a mobile device).

How can I get a match scheduled faster?

Matches are scheduled based on your availability. If you want matches to be scheduled quickly, set a low number of days in the second availability field. If you only want a single match scheduled quickly, set the first date field to today, and we will find an opponent as soon as possible.

Why isn’t a match being scheduled for me?

Your availability might not be set correctly.

The date for scheduling matches might be set too far in the future. If so, we will only start looking for an opponent from that date onward. Adjust this if you want a match sooner.

We may not have found a suitable opponent yet. If this happens, please be patient—we are working on finding you the best match.

Can I see other players’ matches?

Yes! You can see other players’ matches in the Positions tab. Click on a player to view their match history and statistics.

Can I cancel a match?

Yes, you can cancel a match using the Cancel button.

  • Canceled matches cannot be undone.
  • You won’t be scheduled against the same opponent again for now.
  • The match will not count as played and won’t affect your ladder ranking.

💡 Tip: Always contact your opponent before canceling to avoid misunderstandings.

If you frequently cancel matches, consider adjusting your availability—it’s unfair to your opponents if matches get canceled too often.

Can I enter a partial score?

Yes, but a match result will not be processed until the score is fully entered.

How do I enter a match result?

You can enter the result in the Planner section:

  1. Click the pencil icon to edit the score.
  2. Enter the final result and click the save icon.
  3. Both you and your opponent will receive an email confirmation.

You can edit the result until midnight. After that, it becomes final if it is complete (a ✅ appears next to one of the players).

What if my opponent doesn’t show up or forfeits?

If your opponent doesn’t show up or forfeits, you can enter this under Special in the results menu. Here, you can mark:

  • Who forfeited (retired)
  • Who didn’t show up (walkover)

The other player will be awarded the win, and the match will count as played, affecting the ladder ranking.

What if my opponent doesn’t respond?

If your opponent doesn’t respond and you can’t arrange a match, you can cancel the match in the Planner section.
